Monaco Travel Blog

Monaco is officially the Principality of Monaco, city-state, country, and microstate on the French Riviera in Western Europe. It is bordered by France and it’s only half hour away from Italy, (by driving). It's been my second time in this beautiful country. I was lucky to stay there for few weeks. Enjoy local lifestyle and get to know better the country. Even monaco is a little city size country, it has a lot to offer. Beauty of architecture, rich history, clear blue water, sunny weather most of the year and much more. City is clean and well taken care. I was amazed by architecture. I like the contrast between old elegant and new modern buildings. What I liked most was the view of the mountains as the buildings were built tall by tall up to the mountains. The city is well planted with trees and flowers. Has many beautiful places to take a walk or for jogging. Great places for shopping, plenty nice coffee shops and bakery. You can enjoy great food over there, mostly french and italian cuisine. They are famous for great cheese, vine and fresh seafood. Ill thought you can find international kitchen as well. I discovered one great Indian restaurant. Of Course is famous for Monte Carlo casino. And has some nice bars and clubs for the evening to go out. City is well known for an expensive cars riding streets and parking at Place du Casino. Port full of large and expensive yacht. Luxury lifestyle. Branded designer shops. My last visit was in late october- beginning of november and I still had opportunity to enjoy sunny days at the beach taking tan and a little swim in Mediterranean Sea. Ill thought even I could easily recognise places in Monaco city from my first trip few years ago, some parts of city was cardinal change. The mean beach was taking place for renovation. Building of land extension. In 2-3 years it's supposed to be man made island. Well luckily because of that reason I discovered new beaches to me. Firstly I discovered Plage Marquet Beach, Cap d'Ail.

A popular beach close to the Monaco border. And then all the way to the Cap d'Ail beaches. That around 1,5 km beach walk, that ends in Plage Mala Beach, Cap d'Ail. That's an amazing beach to visit. Little paradise. Covered with mountain and a little palm tree jungle. If you want to see a better picture of Monaco city, take your time during afternoon to enjoy cup of coffee in Café de Paris at Place du Casino. If you are looking forward to explore a bit more around Monaco, I would recommend you to take a chance by visiting city of Nice. It's only a half hour from Monaco, (by driving). You can take a direct train or bus. Nice is a beautiful city. With large Place Masséna the mean square. Full of shops and restaurants and with a large, long beach. Or you can explore the side of Italy. Just half an hour from Monaco, city named Sanremo. Its green spaces include the park of Villa Ormond,h a Japanese garden, palm trees and ancient olive groves. Large port filled with yachts boats. And I did taste best ever fresh mozzarella in one of these beach restaurants. I definitely enjoy my trip there and hopefully will be back soon.

I will leave below links to the video related to this trip.
